Une d\u00e9l\u00e9gation du Fonds mondial, conduite par la Responsable des pays \u00e0 haut impact de cette institution, Maria KIROVA, s’est entretenue avec le ministre de l’Economie et des Finances, Dr Aboubakar NACANABO.<\/p>\n

Le Fonds mondial est un m\u00e9canisme de financement international, charg\u00e9 d’aider les pays \u00e0 sauver des vies, en r\u00e9duisant les effets du sida, de la tuberculose et du paludisme.<\/p>\n

Madame KIROVA est venue \u00e9changer avec le ministre en charge des Finances, sur l’alignement du Fonds mondial avec les syst\u00e8mes de financement de notre pays et plaider en faveur de la mobilisation des efforts pour accro\u00eetre les ressources domestiques au profit du secteur de la sant\u00e9. Elle a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que pour le prochain cycle de partenariat avec le Burkina Faso (2024-2026), le Fonds va injecter en dons, environ 250 millions de dollars am\u00e9ricain, soit plus de 137 milliards FCFA.<\/p>\n

Le ministre de l’Economie et des Finances a salu\u00e9 la contribution de cette institution \u00e0 l’am\u00e9lioration de la sant\u00e9 des Burkinab\u00e8. Il a rappel\u00e9 que notre pays consacre 12% de son budget au secteur de la Sant\u00e9 et pr\u00e8s de 40% aux investissements sociaux (\u00e9ducation, sant\u00e9). Dr Aboubakar NACANABO a par ailleurs soulign\u00e9 la mise en place en 2024, de l’Initiative pr\u00e9sidentielle pour la sant\u00e9 dont une des missions est de normaliser et d’\u00e9quiper les infrastructures sanitaires.<\/p>\n
